Tonight over 30 volunteers gathered to prepare for our 350 Day of Action event tomorrow (today now). We are marching out of the Fargo Theatre at noon down Broadway and over to the Civic Center where we will reveal our hand made banner displaying the importance of the number 350. The planet is in the balance and it's time to stand up and LET PEOPLE KNOW.
If you want to see the finished product, join us tomorrow! Noon, Fargo Theatre, BE THERE.

Did I mention Register? We are one week out! No more excuses, no more procrasination, no more waiting. We need to know you are coming and we need you to make that commitment!
Just click on that big shiny Register button on the right -------------- >
This will give you two options:
Pay in Advance or Pay at the Summit
Mayor of Fargo
The current mayor of Fargo is Dennis Walaker. Voters elected him to a four-year term in June 2006. This is Mr. Walaker's first term as mayor. Mayor Walaker is a Fargo native who graduated from Leonard High School (Cass County) in 1959 and attended North Dakota State University.

Fargo is the host of Northern Plains Power Shift and it happens to be a national leader in greening the local economy!

Men's Health recently ranked Fargo 5th in the country for green driving. This is a reflection of the 1.6 million people who rode public transit last year in Fargo-Moorhead. That's a huge ridership.
We are very excited to be able to offer sliding scale registration to EVERYONE. This means you can sign up RIGHT NOW for as little as $5. We are asking everyone who can afford to pay $10, $15, $20 or more to please do so. This will give us a lot more flexibility in giving out scholarships, travel and housing assistance as well as providing nice perks at the summit like breakfast snacks on Saturday and Sunday.
"So what do I get for registering? Where does this money go?"
